new!Fr David Ryan's Induction Mass, celebrated on Saturday 8th October 2011 was a great celebration. Fr David was formally appointed to the position of parish priest of St John's Bath by Bishop Declan Lang of the Clifton Diocese. The ceremony of welcome included representatives from many parishes in the deanery and wider area, as well as representatives from civic life in Bath, and from other Christian churches within the city. The concelebrated 5.45pm Mass was attended by over 300 people, filling the church, and was followed by a Reception in the Parish Hall, which over 200 attended. Also present were previous parishioners of Fr David from Stroud and previous parishes, come to wish him well in this new stage of his life; as well as many other friends and acquaintances.

A series of photographs from the whole event are available below, and can be downloaded as high resolution versions for reproduction. More photos will be available shortly.
