| November 2011 | Parish Christmas Fayre fund raising event on 20 November in the parish hall, was a great success. Many came and enjoyed the raffle, tombola, children's activities, crafts, toys, cards, Christmas gifts, Cakes, & much more. A report of the full amount raised will be posted here shortly. Thanks to all who involved, organised, helped and who came! |

| October 2011 | Parish Ramble on 23rd October, leaving from the RSPCA Cats & Dogs Home in Claverton Down, we enjoyed an off-road walk across to Rainbow Woods and back (some 3-4 miles, it took 3 ½ hours), with a stop for refreshments halfway round. | |
| September 2011 | Barn Dance / Ceilidh, held on 23 September at St.Gregory's School Hall. This was an excellent evening of music, dance and sociability. Food was provided and a raffle and bar. Thanks to the band and the organisers. The A4 poster / details are here (PDF). | |
| September 2011 | Lecture, by Anne Widdecombe, held on 21 September in the Parish Hall. The 'One Year on' lecture was an evening reflecting upon the impact and legacy of the Pope's historic visit. Ann was deeply involved in the media coverage of the visit and was present at some of the events with the Holy Father. Her particular insights allow us to look back as well as reflect upon how that visit has touched our society and our Church. | |
September 2011 |
The Farewell Mass & Party for Fr.Tom Gunning, held on 3 September with the party in the Parish Hall following Saturday evening mass, was a great event. A very large gathering of parishioners and those from the wider deanery, as well as other acquaintances from the area, all came to share in this farewell event to wish him well as he moves on to a new parish and a new challenge. Thanks to everyone who assisted with these events. Fr Tom has now moved (on 7 Septermber) to his new post at the Immaculate Conception, Stroud, and we wish him well for settling there. | July 2011 | Parish Mission /Retreat - a quiet day for all churches together in Bath was organised for Downside Abbey on 16th July. The themes and programme were a talk followed by reflection periods and finishes with mass / collective prayer. |

| 'Bring & Share Parish Picnic' that followed the 10am Mass on Sunday 3 July, was held at midday in the beautiful Parade Gardens, by the river in the centre of Bath. A good number of parishioners came along with picnics and food to share for an very enjoyable gathering. | ||
| May 2011 | Wine Tasting event, held on Fri 20 May in the Parish Hall, including a light buffet. Alain from Great Western Wine (Enotria) presented six wines in the £6 - £8 range. Everyone enjoyed a good evening. |

| Parish Annual General Meeting, held on Sun 8 May in the Parish Hall after 10am Mass. All members of the parish are always welcome, to come and make your views known. Tea & Coffee was provided. | Apr 2011 | Quiz Night, held on Fri 1 April in the Parish Hall. 9 teams competed, everyone had a very enjoyable evening. Thanks to everyone who helped. After expences and a donation to SS Peter & Paul's (who provided the quiz questions) a profit of £ 266 was made! | |

| Nov 2010 | Fayre : on 21 November,the "Parish Christmas Fayre" fund raising event, in the church hall, raised around £1,100 for the church maintenance funds, and £200 for FairTrade. There were childrens activities, Tombola, Christmas gifts, Cakes, Tea & coffee and much more! A great event. See photos here. | |

| 'Mass and Tea in the afternoon' on Thurs 7th October. A celebration of the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary; followed by gathering for tea and coffee. Transport was arranged where possible for those unable. | ||

Visit of Bishop Declan Lang to the parish, over the weekend of 13-14 Feb. The bishop celebrated at all 3 Sunday masses, and met parishioners over tea and coffee, and then the PPC members, after the 10am Sunday Mass. |
